Introduction:
Here are a few images of CNR wagons.

An image of a box, gondola, and a flat wagon.

These images show the bogie cross bracing commonly found in North America. This bracing is used to prevent the bogie frames from parallelograming and thus causing the wheel sets to loose their concentricity with the track. This is an inherent flaw with the simple North American three piece bogie which leads to the bogies hunting from side to side.

A sharp looking all purpose box wagon. I could not stand far enough away to get the whole wagon in one shot. Therefore, I have a left and a right photo.

Hog transport complete with a rider compartment.

Air brake equipment.
I did not record the tank wagon type or number as I found myself being closely watched by a railway policeman. This is a normal
occurrence and usually no reason or cause for alarm, but then I realized that I was photographing what the CNR may consider sensitive freight (petrol product). So I politely and quickly moved on down the railway line.
