Introduction:

Old Saybrook is located in eastern Connecticut and it has a manned station. The railway is property of Amtrak and it also used by Shore Line East commuter trains (operated by Amtrak) and the private railroad company, named Providence & Worcester, provides freight services along the Amtrak line.

The station is well kept and Amtrak is busy constructing high-level platforms as can be seen in the following photographs.
